What is Heron?

Heron was inspired by Chef Blake Jackson’s vision for the next era of Louisiana foods. An elevated, modern take on the cajun and creole classics, blended with international flavor and flare. The food, wine list, cocktail- and above all, the ambience- were inspired by a vision of where Louisiana cuisine has been, and where it is going.

What is the dress code?

We are driven to keep Heron a place that truly is a place to land. A place to indulge, relax and reset your heart, mind and belly. That said, we ask our guests to avoid wearing workout clothes, swimwear or sleepwear. Feeling extra casual, duck in to Mae & Co for an ultra relaxed vibe.

What are the prices?

The cost of high end ingredients and daily delivered seafood don’t come cheap these days. We try to keep things reasonable while making sure you are given the best dishes possible. You should expect starters to fall in the $15-$25 range, small plates to fall in the $20-$30 range, and entrees to fall in the $35-$50 range. Cocktails are typically $10-$15, and wines can range from $10 a glass to $25 a glass, with a few exceeding this range.

Do you take reservations?

Absolutely! Please use our online reservation system on the website, or call us at 318.918.3887. But we certainly welcome and encourage walk ins. Seats at the bar are first come first served, as we do not take reservations for the bar.
